This years rodeo was an enormous sucess with a huge party held on the middle evening.
The venue was perfect with a great hole located several minutes walk upstream from Sukute.
I'm only just back myself - so watch this space for a full list of competition placings
and a full report.

This year the venue will be at Sukhute Beach on the Upper Sun Kosi, in the heart of the Himalayas
but only 3 hours drive from Kathmandu - fast becoming one of the prime kayaking centres in Nepal with a wide
variety of paddling at all levels and many well developed camps to stay at.
DETAILS Those who have been before will recognise the popular format: - A get-together for Himalayan
kayakers at the prime paddling season. - Friendly competition for all (to include the inflatable
crocodile event?). - No strict world class rules and totally biased judging! - Full moon party
on the banks of the Sun Kosi river. - A non-commercial, non-governmental event. - Profits go
to support the Nepal Team at the World Championships.
This year the Rodeo will be hosted by Equator Expeditions, supported by local operators, the All
Nepal River Guides Association, and sponsored by International kayak and equipment companies. Pete
Knowles will be chairing the organising committee.
