Location & Geography

Nepal is easily accessible from Europe, Asia, the U.S. and Australasia. The season runs from September to June offering plenty of scope for different river levels and weather. Some rivers are just two hours from Kathmandu, less than one hour from Pokhara.

Over the distance of just 135 miles this country rises from the plains of India at around 200 feet a.s.l. to the summit of the mighty Mt. Everest at over 29,000 feet!
The mountain scenery is second to none and between the mountains are the beautiful valleys that carry us on some of the most inspiring river journeys in the world.
