Why Nepal's rivers ?

It can be said that whatever your Whitewater interest, Nepal has a river that will suit your needs Whether you prefer waterfall, pool-drop runs, low grade wildlife safari style or pretty much anything in between Nepal will have at least one river to suit your preference.

There are still many adventures to be had in Nepal with some rivers that have still never been descended.

At the steep end there are sections of the upper Bhote kosi that are truly amazing, the infamous Dudh kosi, upper sections of the Modi Khola . . . the list goes on.

If you're into big volume and perhaps a multi-day adventure there are no shortages of rivers here either - The classic Sun kosi, The mighty Karnali is a true adventure with big volume, deep gorges and unspoiled countryside.

For family trips, Kayak clinics and easy rivers the list is equally as impressive. The Seti is an easy warm river in central Nepal. Other rivers are the lower Kali Gandaki, upper Sun Kosi and Trisuli.
